The Stars of How I Met Your Mother Talk Breastfeeding

So my husband and I LOVE this show. We were discovered it a few years ago… and were secretly hoping that it would have staying power. And so far, it has.
Two of the How I Met Your Mother characters, Lily and Robin, did their best to hide their pregnancies during the show. But it was pretty obvious. The tell-tale sign…pillows on the lap and over-sized handbags. So it’s been interesting to see both in the news recently, talking about their babies and breastfeeding.
Alyson Hannigan (Lily) is crediting breastfeeding for her weight loss and jokes that she’d like to keep breastfeeding for the next 18 years to keep the weight off. (there is supposedly a video of this but it won’t load right now; try later). And Cobie Smulders (Robin) also mentions that she’s breastfeeding.

So there’s this guy, Jason Sadler, who has people pay him to wear their tshirts for a day. I got sucked into this idea when I read about his business, IWearYourShirt.com in the New York Times. And today is my day. Live at 3 pm EST he’s wearing a Mama Knows Breast tshirt. Should be funny… since he’s a young guy who admittedly says he doesn’t know much about breastfeeding.
Here’s the link… you can watch him right now, preparing. He’s playing good music. Click here to watch.

CNN’s Campbell Brown Talks About Pumping At Work and the Ohio Pumping Case

No “bull” from CNN anchor Campbell Brown here! Though maybe a little bit of “bias.” Brown talks about how she takes breaks during the day to pump milk for her baby. And she profiles LaNisa Allen, the mom who sued Totes/Isotoner for firing her for taking pumping breaks. Allen lost her case which went all the way to the Ohio Supreme Court. Here’s the Allen interview:
